Background
Solea AS was establishing its brand presence based on a newly defined company name and an existing brand strategy. The organisation needed a clear and cohesive visual identity that could support consistent communication across digital and physical touchpoints.
Challenge
The primary challenge was to translate strategic foundations into a strong, recognisable brand identity while aligning multiple internal stakeholders. Ensuring clarity and consensus throughout the decision-making process was essential to move the brand forward with confidence.
Approach
We conducted initial research, including an analysis of existing companies using the name Solea internationally, to inform naming context and differentiation. The design process followed a multi-level, iterative approach, combining concept development with structured feedback.
To support internal alignment, we facilitated workshops with Solea employees, guiding discussions around brand expression, logo direction and visual tone. Throughout the process, we provided clear recommendations and design guidance to support informed decision-making.
The project resulted in a complete brand identity system, including:
The identity was implemented across key assets such as business cards, website UI, email signatures, infographics and marketing materials. In addition, we delivered professional brand photography coherent with the new visual identity for use across digital and print platforms.
Workshops & collaboration
Solea now has a unified and flexible brand system that clearly communicates its values and supports consistent application across all touchpoints, making for a strong, recognisable foundation for ongoing brand communication and growth.
